About this blog
This blog is primarily devoted to analyzing content, themes, and spiritual parallels in movies. Every review that I write is written from a Christian perspective and contains a family-friendliness rating and a film-quality rating. Although reviewing movies is a primary purpose of this site, occasionally I will review a TV show, video game, book, or music album. I will also occasionally write about a specific aspect of a film or post some thoughts on Christian media discernment in general.
In this blog, I will record my thoughts, opinions, and discoveries as I journey into the world of film. Please note that I'm not endorsing a movie by reviewing it; I will only review what I happen to be watching with my family and friends. If you have any requests for something that I could review, I'd love to hear from you!
I hope that you find this blog to be entertaining, thought-provoking, interesting, and encouraging. Please feel free to leave comments on any of my posts or contact me using the information on the "Contact" page. I would be honored to hear from you!

ABout Me |
I love basically anything having to do with culture, movies, books, and television. I also love finding spiritual parallels in secular work, and I believe that the stories of humans often mirror (some much more than others!) the greatest story of all, the Gospel.
I believe that stories have the power to influence the way we view life. They can shape our world views and opinions; they can capture our hearts and sear our consciences. Because of this, I believe that the movies we watch shouldn't just be "brushed aside." It's important to think about them and analyze them. When I'm not annoying my family and friends with movie-talk, I love hanging out with my family, watching Youtube, playing the piano, reading a good book, or spending time with my goldendoodle Milly. Most importantly, I am forever in the service of my loving Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. |
